-cover page/header
-font/font size
-paragraphing
-citations or notes and references

the problems:
-verb tense: be consistent
-syntax: run-on (the comma splice)
make clear connections between subjects and verbs
use conjunctions AND commas, combine independent clauses
-verb agreement
-vocabulary(use the correct vocabulary, and look it up in a dictionary)
-word counting: the essay only! use the tools to count.
tasks:
proposal(short documents style) next week(8-10 sentences), with the bibliography(APA STYLE) (8-12, and no more than 2 from the internet, at least one must be a periodical.)due week ten.
group work 4A "Douglas Coupland"
read "What a Certain Visionary Once Said" and answer the questions, due week 11

Also, he introduced three assignments. (Dates can be assessed through calender section of the site)
1) Bibliography and Proposal for informative essay is due on week 10 worth 10%.
You will need to include 8-12 REFERENCES. No more than 2 internet references. General Encyclopedia does NOT count since it is a secondary source. You will also need to include at least one periodical.
1A) Informative essay is due on week 14, worth 20%, which includes 1500 words.
Word count does NOT include references. Just the portion below the title to the end of the essay :p
2)Journal #2 is due on week 11
3) We got into small groups for our bibliography group essay. If you missed last class, just ask a classmate if you can join their group. Use the forum to communicate with group members.

The Exam is on week 15, but he said we could move it to week 14 if it helps our studies...........
