Self And Peer Revision Chart
Contains four sections:
1. Tally the number of grammar / mechanic corrections that need to be made.
2. Number the paragraph(s) where content / structure needs to be corrected.
3. Number the paragraph(s) where numerous corrections should be made in that specific paragraph.
4. If a full revision of the paper is needed. (Yes or no?)

How To Present Your Work (Not including APA)
"Short document paper"
Upper left: Name
Tab across: Pages:
(Any pages following should be numbered)
*Enter*
For: Professors name / course
Tab across: Number of words:
*Enter*
Date:
*Enter twice* (Slug)
Title of the paper, centred and capitalized appropriately.
*Enter twice* (Slug)
Enter your document. Indent to begin paragraph (tab). Do not put extra spacing between paragraphs. Spacing = 1. for paragraph breaks. Staple documents. "Brown likes staples"

Narrative Forms and Style of Writing
Narrative: Story - Beginning, middle and end.
Narration: Incident of narrative / the telling of the story.
Narrator: Story teller. (It is not the same as the Author.)
Narrative: Voice 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Examples :
1st = "I, me, we". Interior. Is limited.
2nd = "You". Do not tell a second person story.
3rd = "He, she, they". Exterior. Virtually unlimited. Omniscient (All knowing, knowledge of everything)

Due for next class
Proposal paragraph for the narrative essay due in week 7.
One paragraph. Generally eight to twelve sentences. (Half page at the most)
To be written in the short document style.
The beginning, middle and end.
Characters should be included.
What voice and why? (1st or 3rd)
Be sure to arrive ten minutes before your assigned meeting time.
