here, the new version of my proposal

Oil, Watercolour, and Charcoal, are painting mediums which were used by art professionals for centuries. Acrylics on the other hand are fairly new but have established a reputable status within the industry. With my essay I wish to explore where this new medium came from, how it evolved and revolutionized the creative world? Who are the professionals which embraced the new tool to create their art? What are some well-known paintings which promoted acrylics? What are the benefits of Acrylics? Why has it become so popular?

it sounds so much clearer than before tami! with room for substantial, solid information in your essay. at least that's what I think.

i'm not sure you need the comma after "Charcoal" in your first sentence. and your third sentence you have a question mark, but it doesn't read like a question, it reads like a statement.
