Fri. November 9 Informative Essay


- Choose any topic of choice and be objective
- will be graded on content management
- Preliminary Bibliography, Proposal, and Meeting: 10%
- only listing the preliminary bibliography in APA style
- must have 8 -12 different sources
- no more than two from internet sources
- at least 1 periodical (newspaper, magazine, journal)
- proposal should be short document style
- graded on content management
- Thesis, first sentence, is the most important
- should be good, strong, and focused
- can be rhetorical questions
- 8 to 10 sentences
- must be objective and supported with material evidence that's provable
- pick something you are interested in
- make sure that it's focused
- Check the calendar for times assigned
- come 10 minutes early to go over work with the group
