Visualization: Diagram of the essay. (narrative arc)
-actually draw a narrative arc and number the paragraph.
-in point form write out what each paragraph will contain

Important: placement of complication.
- should be at the end of the first paragraph or beginning of the second.

Important: placement of climax.
-know where the story breaks.

5 - 7 Paragraphs in the essay.
5 = 200 words/paragraph
6 = 168 words/paragraph
7 = 144 words/paragraph

Side notes:
- You do not need to begin writing at the beginning. You can write the climax before anything.
- Draft different parts of your essay at a time.
