Narrative voice -> 1st, 2nd, 3rd person
How to format the essay:
* Must be written in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person throughout
Status Quo (Intro)
-> Main characters established
-> Relationships established
-> Talk about how life set up
-> The status quo starts the interest in the story
-Complication happens
-In the middle there is a gradual increase and fall in interest of the story
Climax:
-> Make a shift so that readers know climax is coming
-> Climax (break) happens
-> Immediately interest starts falling
Status Quo (conclusion)
-> Changes the ideas that were stated in the first status quo
-> Shows the reader the "point" of the story
Essay MUST be 1000 +/- 20 words
5-7 Paragraphs
